Lofting at Abacus Design Studios is used extensively it a process/tool that allows us to makes it possible for the creation of a feature by making transitions between profiles. A loft can be a base, boss, cut, or surface. We create a loft using two or more profiles and all the sketch Entities, including guide curves and profiles, can be contained in a single 3D sketch.
When used with configurations it allows us to analyze different concepts under different conditions and quickly Sketches ideas and experiment with features and dimensions to produce models and detailed drawings.
